Have you ever played chicken with the people in the street? I entertain myself with this daily, especially in crowded areas. I refuse to move. I just keep walking with a purpose in a straight line. Vini's first concert in Barcelona was last night. The night was ubelievably successful. They had a big turnout in this great bar. They sang nine songs. I really think their final instrumental medley, which mixes types of Persian sounds with The Doors rock, could be sold as the soundtrack to a movie. It's amazing. I'm so proud of them.

Just when you thought there was nothing better on TV...the ULTIMATE challenge.

Okay...I know I've been disconnected from American culture for almost a year now. But I just saw "Letters from Iwo Jima" and absolutely loved it. I highly recommend it for anyone who hasn't already seen it.
