So today I got word that my poem, The Longing, has been submitted to be published in Who's Who among Poets. Wow. So far it's won a competition and has been submitted to a national competition, it's being published in a poetry feature showcase book, it's won the editor's choice award, it's being read on a cd, and now this... Welcome welcome november
So far it's looking much better than october
Seems like the beginning of many more good ones too
Loneliness only stretches so far before it ends
Finally I have someone to share my time with
And it feels great so far
Who knows where we'll go from here?
I can't wait to see where we end up.
