So, I read this first part and I just, when Ravens finds out what's going on...that'll be interesting. She noticed how touchy Charles got but then she jumped to the wrong conclusion. But still, I was glad she saw how upset he was.

And then those next two parts, I kept going ooooooooooooohhhh, for serious. The world building, Hannah turning out to be an epic human. Oh man. I got so excited. The part about not doing cancer research made me want to throw things, but that's partly personal (thanks for the cancer warning).

And Erik, I keep flip-flopping with Charles over whether he's redeemable. Just going to have to wait and see.

Mmm, well, when she finds out what's been going on... It might still not be the truth! :o She does just really want her big brother to be like her, though.

Eee thank you! Yeah, her backstory just sort of sprung up on me - a very long time ago I had Beast mention an empath in his lab who was accused of being human, just as sort of an aside, and then suddenly Hannah showed up! :o But I'm glad you liked it and yeah, I debated about the warning but my dad just got over being ill from cancer treatments and I know other people aren't always as lucky. :(

Yes! It might be debatable right up near the end! But he definitely comes down on one side of the coin, eventually. ;)

I love this fic, it's got some of the best characterization and relationship dynamics I've ever seen. I rebound wildly between sympathy and disgust for Erik, and various levels of pity for Charles. And I'm always embarrassingly thrilled when you post a new part.
