To get home from Japan we were scheduled to fly from Narita (Tokyo) to Dallas- Fort Worth to San Jose to Seattle. Today I accomplished many things in getting ready for Japan like cutting caramels (hostess gifts), packing, a meeting at church, returning books to the library, giving directions to the person caring for our cats, etc... and I made blackberry jam. They're a little late, but they are wonderful! I went out twice last week (once with Chris), and today I went with Chris and his parents. I can stand in one spot and pick a quart without hardly having to move. Today I froze 5 full quart bags AND made a blackberry crisp-- just a little piece of heaven- Yum! Today I went on a field trip with one of the preschool classes at our center (I also went yesterday with the other 2 classes). This month's field trip was to the Pacific Science Center.
