DDR Tournament 2 Day Warning

Reminder, I'm having a DDR Tournament in my garage this Saturday. Look here for more details. We've been diligently cleaning out the house and garage. I just picked up some stuff to work on regrowing my mostly dead lawn... Hopefully, the people across the street aren't dumb and file a noise complaint like they did last night when I was playing 8

as well as your other neighbors.

I know I'm "dumb" for saying it, but people without kids don't think about the noise level. It is quite possible that folks have litle ones sleeping or just trying to go to sleep around that time, and it can get aggrivating when there's a lot of noise to distract them from slumber land.

....just a thought about communicating with your neighbors....

as a parent of a 16 month old, I know I'd appreciate communication from our neighbors when they decide to throw a party

Pretty sure it was the old couple across the street. Speaking of communication, they could have walked across the street and said, "Hey, that's bothering me."

I guess it depends on what kind of party... As a host survivor of 2/3 Rathstar Rendezvous's and countless DDR-related ones, I know I've never communicated anything to my neighbors about it.

But then, I've never had a DDR machine running in my garage, either...

But just the fact that you've already had police over sounds like a guaranteed precursor for more of the same today. So Christy's probably right; you're probably going to get lots more grief from the neighbors today if you do nothing to curb their ire.

But it's no concern of mine.. I performed terribly last tournament, and I know my skills haven't gotten any better since then. So I'm out for this one.

considering the tournaments are always over by 7 or 8 it's never really a problem
