... the movers have come and gone, there's an empty room where I used to reside.  I'm using another room in the house temporarily until Saturday, when I leave Fort Walton Beach for good and head towards Houston via New Orleans.

I figure the reality will strike about Tuesday.

It's a weird feeling, isn't it - walking around in empty rooms? When we were finishing the move from the city to the farm, and there was little left in the city house but an air-mattress and an old TV (on the arial, no cable!) it just felt sooooo odd. With no furniture, the house just echoed with every footstep, and it just felt surreal. It was just a house then, no longer a home.

Here's hoping your move is uneventful, and the new job is everything you dreamed it would be! :)
