A Good Laugh
I've been kinda sad lately because one of my favorite attorneys died this week. So, last night I had to go shopping from something appropriate to wear to the wake and funeral. So we went to Ely on our yearly winter trek; we didn't do much trekking as I came down with a cold and we did not do what we originally planned on doing. We wanted to go snowshoeing; didn't do that. Halloween Excitement!
Every year the building has a pumpkin decorating contest. Last year I didn't do so good. But this year I got second place. I am getting a $100 gift certificate from Cabelas. YAY! I spent 4 hours working on my pumpkin. The woman that one first place spent 18 hours on hers. Next year I need to come up with something really spectacular. I'll ( Read more... ) -
Foam
During the visit with my ENT last week, she has me doing a different rinse for my sinus. This rinse includes baby shampoo. That's right, baby shampoo. It's suppose to break up this lining in the sinus that holds the bacteria in. Anyway, when I use the new rinse, I feel like a rabid dog. All this foam comes running out and it gets everywhere. What We Did This Weekend

Road Trip

Earache, Part 3 and Other Things
I went to the ENT on Friday to have my ear checked. She looked in my ear, checked my throat, and checked my sinus. Everything looks normal. Her diagnosis: the Eustachian Tube is inflamed. Treatment: take Advil for pain and use hot packs. A friend said that I wasted $30 (co-pay for two doctor appointments) to find out that nothing is wrong. ( Read more... )
