New year's resolutions:
1. Practice more jazz.
2. Learn some Liszt.  And some Chopin etudes.
3. Write a piece.
4. Write a novel.
5. Stay alive.
6. Be firm with the four-year-olds next Christmas and don't let them touch the piano.
