What do you look for in a friend? Trust, loyalty, the ability to have fun together, and the ability to be serious when necessary.
What would you do if a friend betrayed you? Probably cut them off. I'm not the kind who'll try to get revenge, but good luck trying to speak to me again, unless you had a good reason.
Mention one friend you'll never forget, and why: I'll mention two. My two best friends through primary school and the two first years of middle school. We are an awesome power trio, and really completed each other well (though we were all geeks. I was probably the most sport-inclined fo the three). They taught me so much, and were the only two people I could trust back when I still saw the world as a battlefield.
Can you stand having a rivalry with your best friend?: This question is actually pretty irrelevant in my case. My only rival is myself. I judge what I do compared to what I did before, not what others do. If they're better than me, well good for them. They're not the ones who set my goals. So unless they consider me a rival, which would be pretty retarded, I don't see why there would be a rivalry there.
That being said, I do think it's best if we have skills that compelte each other. Right now, I write and my BFF draws. It's a good mix, and doesn't stop me from drawing, even though I'll never reach her level.
Would you prefer to look out for your friend or have your friend look out for you: I prefer looking out for people, which is why I'm so pissed at being so damn weak right now.
Is there a Tales character you feel like you'd never be able to get along with? You're allowed two: Lloyd. That's a definite no. And, huh. Probably Chelsea? XD

in your best friend
Leader or Follower?I tend to be pretty bad at following, so probably follower... or even better, someone independent, just like me. Honestly, I don't see why there should be hierarchy in friendship.
That being said, I don't mind having a leader-type for a friend, as long as they don't try to lead me.
Listener or Speaker? Any is good. balance is even better.
Persistent or Weak-willed? I'll get very frustrated with someone who'll let people walk over them. As long as they're not headstrong to the point of stupidity I prefer someone persistent.
Pessimistic or Optimistic? Optimistic. I'm pessimistic enough for two.
Patient or Impatient? You probably need a lot of patience to deal with me XD But impatient in the hotblooded sense isn't really a problem, to be honest.
Common Sense or Book Smart? Both are good. I tend to frolic with geeks and nerds IRL, but I've had friends who weren't academically inclined and it wasn't a problem. As long as they've got some sort of sense of smart.
Business or Pleasure? With friends, pleasure. It'll make me feel less guilty about my procrastinating tendencies, too.
Alone or With a Group? I do well with small ground (three to five?), and as duos. Large groupe tend to get to me, and any time I've been in one, over time I bonded with two or three people and managed to nearly alienate the others.
Serious or Mischievous? A balance would be good, but I'd probably prefer mischievious.
Going out or Staying indoors? I can do both, but the scale is definitely tipped in the indoors direction here. I blame video games.
Partying all night or quiet evening with someone? I enjoy both, and need both, but with a close friend I think I'd rather enjoy a private evening. (or you know, a good spar, which totally counts)
as a friend
Do you prefer your friends to be like you or different? There are some common values that I absolutely need them to have, and a few common personality traits that would probably help, but other than that, I've had friends very different from me, and some pretty close too. It doesn't matter that much.
Do you usually wait to know what a favor is to agree to help, or do you say yes right away? Yes. I make a point to keep my promises, but it also means I don't make any I don't think I can keep.
When asked for advice, do you say what they want to hear or what you know they should hear? I say what they need to hear, unless it's clear that they're to deaf to hear it anyway. I do try to be tactful, though. Saying the truth, yes. Throwing it in someone's face without warning or balm isn't very nice, though.
Your friend tells you she/he is about to do something that you think it's stupid or simply suicidal. What do you do? Explain why it's stupid or suicidal. Hit them over the head if necessary. If they still don't listen, then it depends. If it's just stupid, I'll let them learn by themselves. If it's dangerous, I'll probably try to stop them.
Are secrets kept safe with you? Yes. That is one thing over which I will never go back. Unless keeping it is a major threat to their safety, I will never give away a secret, and I've learnt some pretty massive ones over the years.

Any suggestions? I'm thinking an age range question might have been appropriate in this case. Some people don't get along that well with people younger, or older... or in some cases, with those their own age.
Also, put a damn lj cut code in the application.
Do you have any problems with the questions? Nope.
Anything else? KUREAAAAAAAAAAAAA
