Once again Harry, I must ask too much of you

Today may have partially banished my hatred of flying. JetBlue is SO GREAT. JFK, also a great airport! So much food, free wi-fi, and a Borders!

ANYWAY. HBP review in bullet points!

I am so excited to see it! The boy and I are going on saturday. I'm pretty sure I'm going to cry. :( <3 But I'm glad it was good.

I really liked it. I do my best to not compare to the books myself, but I think the one scene I was looking forward to was the House of Guant. If they replaced that with the unneeded burning of the Weasley's Burrow, it would have been the best yet. Also, I think they could have put in more murder and mayhem since... it was a very dark book. Alhough like I said, this might end up being up there with Prisoner of Askrahban as my favorite since the cinematography was aces.

Good review!

Definitely! Prisoner of Azkaban was an awful adaptation, but the cinematography added something special. Half-Blood Prince was aces because it took what was great about Prisoner and was also a great adaptation.

Maybe they'll do something with the Guants in the next two movies?

LMAO @ inferi like Gollum; I thought the EXACT same thing :P It freaked me out when one grabbed Harry, even though I KNEW something was going to come out D:

I couldn't believe how much the trio's acting had improved. I was really happy with it :)

I didn't mind Tom's sobbing - Draco DID cry in the book, and I believed Tom when he did it... *shrug*

THE ART DIRECTION. They've finally perfected the look of Harry's world, EVERYTHING IS SO PRETTY.
OHMYGOD I KNOW! It was prettier than the last movie! The last movie was a lot more blue... :/

I need to drag my parents to see this ... :D

I adored this movie so much. I've seen it twice, and both times it was BRILLIANT.

My theory about why it was the best one? Because all the books are out. The writers knew what would be necessary for seven to make sense, and so the things they left in/took out/added made a brilliant setup for the seventh movie(s).

I'm ready to see it a third time!

I absolutely agree. It made the film way more compact and concise. I wish they could have had the same guidance for the other films. It does make me optimistic about the next two films!

We pretty much have the same brain, not that that's a surprise at all. I forgot to mention the bit about the colors. I love being a sucker for aesthetics.

Have fun in Boston! (Also, totally jealous you snagged tickets on JetBlue - they're the best.)
