I gave in to my GYN and started taking birth control pills two months ago to try to control my endometriosos. The insert with the pills said something about one's cycle being lighter; my first month the flow was lighter but it lasted a few days longer than usual ( Read more... )

Something Shadesong said got me thinking (no surprise, that)...she describes herself as homesick for her life before chronic illness and the treatment thereof. I remember a few times when everything around me - even familiar things - seemed foreign; when I didn't feel comfortable in places I'd been thousands of times.
