I'm bummed by Dr Who just now.... anyone know of any good Rose/Dr fic? Is anyone good writing in it?

My friend E. in Iraq was the control officer for Angelina's visit to Baghdad! There is one public video clip with her in it, very briefly in the right corner looking hassled. It's this one that has poor Angelina trying to eat lunch while being snapped, grilled, taped, and adored. I must say AJ still managed to come off as ladylike.

Sunday and Wednesday night I was overwhelmed by owl cuteness. There's no good way to describe them in words, let the pictures speak! These aren't baby owls, they're just naturally small and sweet! And also docile, curious, and apparently liking to be petted. They get a cat-like expression when you stroke their head.

Can a couple people do me a favor... I'm trying to figure out some good metrics for online forum health, and I want to base it not just on my own intuitions but other people's. I have some screenshots of 3 different forum "front pages" behind the cut tag, which I'd like a few opinions on.

I mostly thought Switzerland seemed kind of -- dull and bland, maybe because it's neutral :-) Apart from the cheese aspect. But this Amazon comment post on a book about Swiss travel made me think I might like it in a really geeky way:
