wow. these were powerful chapters. i'm so glad you got back to this story. i had despaired of it ever being finished.
i think ennis is an ass. he has everything with david and he ran from it.
his dreams at the cabin are well drawn. i'm not quite sure i caqn follow them and put a story behind each one though. i think the one with his father was brilliant.
i also liked the sense that jack is with him. maybe jack will help him rethink his belief that if you can't fix it you gotta stand it.
what a coincidence to find this update today, as well as the other chapters. I've been checking regularly for a new chapter since the last one, because David and Ennis' relationship intrigues me. it's great that you're still writing. :)
