...

This Christmas Vacation has been lovely, despite the undying lameness of a Social essay. But I got it done on the 27th (hooray), while I was sick. *dies* Yeah, I got sick again. It prevented me from doing a lot, but this past un-sick week has been pretty jam-packed!

Cut, to save your souls from the following ramble. It involves a lot of irrational boyfriend-y stuff. )

lonely, suck, depressed, darling, friendness, yearly beginnings, looking forward, reflecting

*hugs tight* It's totally normal, hon. I blame pheromones, 'cause I could never explain it either. But when you're in a relationship with someone, you really do get this weird feeling like you're being suffocated when you have to leave -- and the time you get to spend with them never feels like enough. Maybe it's biological -- like some buried instinct is afraid that if you're apart, you'll lose them somehow.

And it actually gets worse the more time you get to spend with them. (I know for me and Nikki it got progressively worse every time we saw each other until she finally got here. Leaving Chicago that last time was harsh.)

*hugs tight*

I'm glad he wasn't too weirded out by us on New Years! *laughs*

*hugs tight right back* You get it. I kinda thought you might. (And your situation with Nikki was quite a lot harder, I'm sure...being a whole country apart, and all.)

You know, that helps. A lot. Thanks. *hugs more* :)

You kiddin'? It is virtually impossible to weird Cory out. I have learned this well. *giggles*

I was going to comment... but Joce said everything that I would have... and it already helped... so now I'm a day late and a dollar short. ;)

I think it is also harder because you don't always necessarily know when you'll get to see him again because of your schedules. And not knowing whether it'll be a day or a week can create some anxiety. The best advice I can offer is just to enjoy all the time you get together an extra little bit, knowing that you'll be sad when you leave. It can actually enhance appreciation. :)

*big hugs* I'm glad he liked us! He seems like a pretty cool dude.

I appreciate your comment. That sounds like it'll work.
