that when you finish a book, there's a withdrawl period?  Or like, a time when you have to remind your self that you're done reading?  I recently finished the Twillight books.  They were so-so.  The middle two books were much better than the bookends of the series ( Read more... )

I understand completely. You find this interesting alternative world, you want to continue exploring, but can't.

This is why I love finding huge series by authors that are new to me. I can spend months and months delving into story after story, picking up a new book just as the last ends.

Of course, this can be bittersweet when you FINALLY get all the way to the end of the current book. You then find yourself aggravated that he/she hasn't finished the next book, and wishing they would just HURRY UP ALREADY!

Yes! Exactly!

And I find that I don't really want to read a book that's not in a series because there's just not "enough" time with it.
