Speaking as both a woman and as the winner of the 'Best Pipe' accolade at The Sheridan's Last Gasper event this year, I find I look rather fetching with a white clay pipe and enjoy savouring the heavenly scents and flavours a fine tobacco can provide. 17th Century Costume Dramas

If anyone can suggest ones I have missed out, I might not have seen them yet. And if these films contain Charles II or Louis XIV, I will wee my bloomers.

One has finally been gifted the privilage of internet access within the confines of the palace. A privilage taken for granted all too often my the masses. I may once more be seated at my bureau and happily muse upon the world outside of the boudoir window. A world into which I shall venture into far less often.
