Broken Arm
Val fell off her bed and broke her arm friday night of Labor Day weekend. The Dr says it is healing very well, only two more weeks in the splint (for a total of three and a half weeks) and she'll be all better. On a lighter note she is turning 3 next month. We had a great trip. We were busy the whole time, which kind of defeats the purpose of a vacation. We drove to my Uncle's house from the airport, ate dinner there and spent the night. We leave for vacation tomorrow. We're going to Maine for a week to visit my extended family. I'm really excited, it's the first airplane trip for the kids. I'm not as crazy today as I thought I'd be. My birthday weekend
Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. It was good, one more year as the DD, haha. I don't mind, it's kinda fun. My birthday was kind of boring, I spent the day at my parents, we ate, veged, played games, and lit fireworks. Saturday was great though. Nicci is in town and we spent the day with her. Central Florida fair was this past week and a half. Jeremy and I were there for the sheep Monday through Sunday. I had an okay time, I ended up getting pretty sick because of the lack of sleep and gross food I was eating. Today I really only have a sore throat, but I wish even that would go away. Val's birthday party was great. Way better than I expected. Saturday we just did a little family thing out here at our place. We had some snacks and I had made two cakes.
