Hehe, it's not bad so far. I'm still not sure if it'll pull me away from WoW, but I've got it preordered and will probably play it on my off-days and sometimes with Sindl since he seems to really be liking it, at least until one or both of us get bored. XD Trying to play around a bit with the classes while it's in beta, see what I like. I'm still not sure. Think I'll work on a ranger now.
It's definitely pretty, and I'm finding it easy to love my characters, unlike some past MMO attempts, so it has that going for it. Although, I find the Asmodae atmosphere/story a lot more appealing, but I think you guys and Sindl all plan to play Elyos. XD Oh well~ I guess it's a question of whether I play Asmodae as off-server alts or an on-server main to beat you guys up!
No way! We've been planning on going Asmodian since the beginning! So you can play an Asmodian and ally with us as a main AND beat up Sindl! Best of both worlds!
How high level have you gotten so far? Until you ascend and get to choose your class (aside from warrior, scout, priest, and mage) you don't really get a good feel for it yet since you don't really have any of the distinctive class features yet. The highest I've gone so far was 14 or 15ish I think in the Chinese beta, but in this one I'm only going to around 10 since the full release is coming out soon and there's no point in making so much progress that I feel like I'm just doing it all over again on the 18th!
Got 14 on the Templar, I think. Or close to it anyway. I'd take it farther, but... it's on his account, bleh. I dunno if I'll have time to get another one much past 10, but I'll try. Yeah, I kinda don't like that I have to play through 10 levels to see the ascended stuff, but I really have no idea what I want to play at launch, so I'll mess around while there's time.
