I agree with this. I know certain things about you, but I really don't know who you ARE. And, as for finding that out, there are so many questions that I could ask...
hmmm. that's a tough one, i can think of a lot of early memories but it's hard to pinpoint the first. it's probably warped anways haha.
i can remember pre-school pretty clearly, & even then feeling shy and nervous. i can remember the smell of pears & cottage cheese in the room with the blue carpet where we ate lunch. i can remember the dress up station i was always to scared to play in & the art station where i was almost everyday, the water table, and up the stairs to this beautiful wonderland of giant blocks to climb in and out of and on top of.
tell me everything about the place where you live. the name of it, where it is, what the weather is like, where you go and what you do, the people, your favorite secret places, what your house is like, even --anything! i love to know that kind of stuff about people and i don't really know anything about the exterior lives of my lj friends.
sault (pronounced like soo) sainte marie, MI. it's tiny(!) there are street names like easterday & hursley & ashmun (where all the businesses are for the most part). i live in an apartment building that if you look it up on google earth, is a giant x. nice right? haha. it's called West Pier Place & it lies right next to the st. mary's river where giant freighters pass by my window for most of the months of the year. (the most gorgeous sunsets always fall on that river.) there is lots of trees & lots of victorian houses in some of the older parts of town. main attractions: walmart (soon to be super walmart ooohh), dondee lanes bowling alley, varcity cinema, maurices, jcpenny, applebees, goodwill. for the locals anyway, the tourists go crazy over the soo locks. if you drive on portage street in the summer months be prepared to stop your car abruptly b/c tourists drive ridiculously slow down that road and actually pull over & stand on top of their cars for pictures. most of the people are nice, even here you get the idiots who

i wanted the stage, the people screaming, the power of my voice reaching that many people. it was nonsensical and impossible but i dreamt it anyways for so long. i guess the power of words has always been important to me, i just found a new way to express them through poetry.
