Fragile
Everything in my life is falling apart. Nothing is solid, even the ground beneath me is shifting like liquid. Soon to be in-between jobs, except I don't have anything lined up. Jealousy
"It takes a large fortune to make a small fortune."
I envy those given the means to pursue their dreams. I feel like there is no quick buck in life, and thus my long term efforts would only benefit future offspring or my estate's heir.
Maybe it is just the opportunities or thoughts that I literally can't afford to indulge.

Death
Today I learned that someone I knew and worked with died unexpectedly this weekend. Alone, a blood clot, his roommate found him. I wasn't that close, but I will miss him. When someone is alive, you can ask them anything and usually get an answer. But when they die that book not only closes, but bursts into flames. The only thing left is people ( Read more... ) -

Why is everything so damn expensive?
I have the potential to make more money, but I do love the freedom in time that my current job gives me -- but not as much as I love the goodwill aspects. But I am getting older and all the things I have always wanted to do (and still want to do) cost money. I have the potential to be creative too, I need to work on that one... -

What I learned in school...
I worked quite a bit before I went back and finished my first degree. And people would always ask me what I learned? The answer is still "nothing that I wasn't familiar with before, but I did learn some good things here and there ( Read more... ) -
