It's been a while! I feel like I come up with these goals for posting, and then I instantly stop posting. I do think I've been kind of sick for the past week with some kind of summer cold that mostly just made me feel tremendously tired. We're still debating over whether we should get a tent in case of rain. I've been so bad about posting lately... I'm still adjusting to the new job and a longer commute to the new job. Job is going well, but has been stressful this week. I've been working on a cost report, which has been crazy for me since I'm still so new to the company. Went and bought a car today! Basically, we went to a place, told the guy what price range we were looking at, he showed us a couple things, and I chose the one that felt more comfortable driving. And then we spent 2 hours doing paperwork. It's a Mitsubishi Lancer. It's 2012, so fairly recent, and only about 42,000 miles on it, which I like. I got a ( Read more... ) -

Well, vacation is almost over. I think I'm almost ready to go back to work, although I am nervous about starting the new job. The first two days are orientation, though, so they should be very easy. And then I'll work the rest of the week and have a 3 day weekend. So, there's that. I just hope that this job doesn't end up going to shit like the ( Read more... ) -

Finished with my job! I'm now on my week off. :D My last week was kind of bad? Like, not terribly so, but they did manage to hire my replacement, so I was training her all week. And since her office was mine, I couldn't exactly send her off to do some work while I got some alone time. I spent almost the entire 40 hours of the week talking to this ( Read more... ) -

It was a little bit of a rough week, more for J than for me. I've still been having guilt pangs about leaving my current job, but I think I'm just going to have to deal with that until I'm gone.
