i've not been paying attention much to music since pretty much before 2000. and even then it was nowhere near as broad as what you seem to be doing. where do you get your info and find out about new things?

thanks for the info. we've been using the putumayo compilations like crazy on our show recently. they make good filler with lounge from all around the world.
my producer has been in radio for 30 years or so and he knows a little bit of everything pretty much. so i don't really find the music so much as he does, writes out scripts for me and i do some research on the side.
the selection in korea is pretty limited, and i too, only use the internet to find music already written into my script. mostly i find myself just looking up lyrics to translate. which only works in the major romance languages for me. dunno where to even begin to translate anything in say, czech.
