i answered that it was a good start but not enough- take this with a grain of salt because when i plan to feed groups of people i tend to go way overboard. but in the end i prefer the fresh stuff to the pre-made supermarket stuff. but another grain of salt here because im a little snobby. i would never look down on someone serving me premade foods but would avoid it myself. does that make sense?

I also go way overboard, and don't like devilled eggs! But I do enjoy baking for people, and fresh fruit is always good. I also would not look down on premade foods from someone else, but would never serve them myself.

I would look to add a protein somehow, if I was expecting it to serve as lunch too, but would feel fine about muffins and fruit as a light breakfast.

the only issue i have with a fruit-and-muffin brunch (which sounds delicious to me) is that if anyone is doing a low-carb thing (and sooooo many people are), they won't be able to eat anything.

I might throw in some cheese and ham or turkey slices with it.....to give as another option to the eggs. Still with the idea of keeping it simple! :)

Ooh, yeah, some ham/turkey and cheese wraps might be a nice protein alternative!

I would go with the boiled eggs.
