I'm enjoying a lovely brown ale (it's really more like a stout, I think) from Dogfish Head while Justin cleans the spinach for dinner tonight. Our late dinners are a sore point for me -- I hate having the kids up so late -- but it's kind of peaceful to hear the kids playing upstairs and just sort of waste my time while my sous chef does the boring ( Read more... )

Would you be able to meet for breakfast one day? I don't have a regularly scheduled lunch hour but I can always do breakfast.

happy birthday to wonderful wren and you!

its so interesting how both you and lauren have those really composed magical first born girl children. remember to support and love them as they might turn into someone elses dinosaur children during adolescent sometimes but they will come back out of it, all the richer and stronger for it. its ok to be a bit selfish during that time (them) I mean, its kinda growing individualizing and all, and your patience and trust in them will pay back later

but who knows, who knows, of course!
