For cryin out loud ~ I've been trying to get rid of some really good furniture. Couldn't sell it so tried the donations for the blind. They didn't get that they needed to come to the house, not the end of the lane to get it. Goodwill and VV only take furniture at specific locations *sometimes* ~ especially when your driving a full truck load in (not to mention unload it too).
You can't just drop off furniture at any location, they chase you off with a stick!

I swear, if every time I saw a "free" sign on solid wood chairs, desks, good living room furniture on corners all over the area this summer and gave them to someone on a corner with a "need money" sign, they could actually make some money by selling it for a couple of bucks depending on the item.

Its amazing how no one wants even free stuff anymore ~ and this is stuff left over from last years move from Sequim where I was doing someone a favor for taking it off their hands after they begged me.
Now I know why!

I know value village take drop offs right behind their stores... I've done it quite a few times... in Victoria, mostly, but as well as at the Redmond VV. Just drive round back and drop it off.

Could you list what you have, so people can come and grab it before it goes to the dump? I'm looking for a few things like a desk and a small table, possibly chairs.
