TED's important message this April 1st.

My twin sister is 27 as of yesterday! We went to see How to Tame Your Dragon. I was skeptical, but it was wonderful. Maybe it's the hormones, or the chocolate cake, but I teared up a bit at the end. We laughed a lot.

Thanks everybody for your well-wishes; I was on the sidewalk when it happened, so I'm totally fine. The guy did come running right towards me, though, and I got out of the way quick. I wrote it all up in my diary, I'll transcribe when I get the chance. The clerk/cashier who took after him down the alley was a brave woman.

Well, that was interesting. I got to witness the Jamba Juice being robbed.

We're on TV. Sweeet.

It's beautiful here. Cold, windy, covered with snow, the Capitol building all lit up at night...I think I much prefer DC in the winter to DC in the summer. Have yet to see it in Spring, of course, but I think I can take a work-week's worth of this winter living. After that, I might be ready to head back to SoCal ( Read more... )
