Thanks! I really enjoyed making it, but it seemed to take forever.

That's my Meg in the foreground. She seems to worm her way into all my pictures, even when she's not the subject. :)

I agree. Our lives (and pics) would be so boring without them. :)

Thanks, Nat! I was so glad to finish, even though I had lots of fun making it. I love mixing and matching loads of colors.

That's a seriously huge crocheting project! I love how Meg is making sure everything is just so and up to scratch. I think your choice of red for joining the squares is perfect.

She always has to inspect everyting I do. :) She's also been sleeping on it off and on for the past four hours to make sure that it feels right.

Wow, that looks great (and huuuge)!!! :)
Congratulations on your hard work. How long did it take to finish all that?

P.S. - give a big hug to Meg: she's so lovely!

It took me about six months to finish it. I started right after I got my new couch around the end of June last year. (I finished a project first, so it might have been July or August when I started.) I loved making it, but near the end it seemed as if it would never be finished!

I'll give Meg your hug--as long as she doesn't try to scratch my face off. ;)

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations - its absolutely brilliant! And Meg is just tooooooooooooo pretty...I'd love to see a pic of her on it, one day. Pleasy please :) Cat pics always make me smile.

My favourite square is the greeny-bluey one on the right-hand side, and the purply whitey one on the front. I like the dark green one too!

Thanks, Katy!! I was so glad to finally finish. I couldn't wait to put it on my couch and take a picture to put on LJ. She was sleeping on it last night, and I wanted to take a picture, but while I was getting the camera, I disturbed her and didn't get it. It would have been a really pretty picture. I'll have to keep my eye out for my next chance.

I kind of like the bright yellow squares myself. (Which is funny because my favorite colors are blue and purple!)
