Writing Update
38,000 words on the current project. I am NOT looking forward to taking the giant blocks of scenes I have an organizing them into a more linear path with chapters and all kinds of stuff. It'll take a while, but afterward, it's going to really start looking for a book.

The new job is - weird. I mean, I'm all about being closer to home, but I'm taking a pay cut to do the work of what's clearly going to be two or three people for a little while. Some changes need to happen at the new place, I'll see what I can do about that.

Jorbs and Writing
I got one of the jobs I was after. It's a noticeable pay cut, but I get 2 hours of my life back that formerly went to my commute. I plan to directly replace that time with writing. 24,000 words thus far. I already feel like a real writer. But hitting I've got the drive to do more. I want my 25,000 words. I want my 30,000 words. Life and Jorb update
K, time for us to let the cat out of the bag. We're birth parents of one Jeremy Ashford and one Gillian Mildred. We ultimately chose to adopt them out to a very nice lesbian couple up north.

Atl Steam Fest!
Atlanta has a pretty decent goth crowd with a moderate number of Steampunk folks. A few that I know have gotten together to put on a play reading of a Steam-version of Shakespeare's The Tempest in June. We'll be pimping it a lot more as days go on, we just wanted to get the info out there.
