Life aint bad. not too bad at all. It has it's ups it has it's downs and sometimes you just wanna fucking rip someone's liver out with your bare hands and maybe have a really fucking huge knife slicing their face open. Traditionally speaking, a "marriage" is a joining of a man and a woman. Don't get me wrong, I believe people of the same sex should be allowed to be together and be reconized for it. But even so, it's not the same as a marriage, because one of the main point of a marriage is to procreate...have kids. More traditional people would like to keep marriage in a tradional context and will fight to keep it that way. So why not fight for an equal type of union between life partners, having all the same tax benifits and other benifits that occompanies marriage. Just a though...

Anonymous I like that I agree actually except for the marriage is between a man and woman. I agree with you on that we should be fighting for equal rights... taxes and benefits and overall recognition.... but why is it that heterosexuals are allowed to get married and get divorced so on and so forth without even procreating. Also, the church has been making up it's own rules for years and years. Women were not allowed to partcipate in the church. no one was really unless you were male. but now that is ok. what about polygamy? Once a standard thing and accepted by the church until it was denied. Why? Marriage is about love and commitment. look at history. But we must also recognize that if a certain church no matter what demonination whats to have a marriage for homosexuals I REALL MARRIAGE UNDER GOD... it is true that a lot of homosexuals are god lovin people... then why does the government have any right to interfere.
