So this year is drawing to an end and lately i've been thinking back on what i watched and fangirled over this year. And then i noticed that two of my favourite new characters from two of my fave new casts this year have some pretty decent similarities (despite the fact that they're very different girls).
Emily is a 16 year old identical twin from Bristol, England. She's shy and completely overshadowed by her twin which means that people tend to overlook her. Her sister is the "hot one" who gets all the attention and all the boys, but Emily has a secret, she doesn't want boys, in fact she wants the pretty girl from their middle school whom she kissed once (probably while drunk and at a party), Naomi Campbell. Luckily for Emily, Naomi just so happens to turn up at the very same college that Emily and her sister are attending this year, and so begins season 3 of SKINS.
Emma is the guidance counselor at William McKinley High School in Ohio. She suffers from Mysophobia and Germaphobia and as such she has an extensive knowledge of solvents and cleaning products, as well as a penchant for being incredibly clean, neat and organised. She has a brooch and cardigan collection larger than most other peoples entire wardrobes and she has a massive, hopeless crush on the Spanish and Glee Club teacher, Will Schuester. But he's married. Despite that, throughout the season, her and Will have become close friends, often choosing each other to confide in about any problems they might be having. The seem to have a mutual attraction but they don't make a move on it, they're both too moral and upstanding for that.

TL,DR: this picspam is about two very different girls/women on different sides of the globe, but they have similar crushes, and they're both really adorable! enjoy the picspam :D

Emily has a crush on Naomi but she's "straight" and Emma is kinda in love with Will but he's married.

They are so proud of their BBs doing what they really want. Emily encourages Naomi to run for president and
Emma encourages Will to run Glee club when he feels like he should go and get a higher paying job instead.

Naomi picks leaves out of Emily's hair for her, Will gets gum off of Emma's shoe for her. ♥

They are both accustomed to getting turned down and left out in the cold.
Having a crush on someone who can't/won't like you back is really tough. poor girls.
I love the contrast in the second row of disheveled Emily vs. perfectly neat Emma.
They're still beautiful when they're a crying mess ♥
Emma's scene is played for laughs, and it succeeds in making me laugh every single time lol, watch it here.

Naomi runs from Emily because she's still scared and confused and she can't handle how Emily makes her feel.
And Will chooses to be a good husband and stay true to his wife by ending things before they even begin.

In actuality they are very different characters, but it was fun finding caps where they seemed similar.
Athough, they are both adorable, shy, red-heads and hating on them is like kicking Bambi :P
