Little girls dream of finding a knight in shining armor and wind up marrying a mechanic in levis and flannel. When you're little dreams seem so real, you don't know anything of the world, anything of reality, and everything seems plausible. I remember designing my future home and things like Olympic sized swimming pools filled with jello came ( Read more... )

Strange, today I opened my trunk and caught a whiff of motor oil, gasoline, and metal. It reminded me of you and I being together. Maybe because of the Jetta ( ... )

Women blow. I'll come over and play videogames with you even if I do get married. End of story.

Well... I do likes me some jetskiing, lemme tell yah.

That aside...

I found this to be a very well-worded, well-thought out concern. We have our similarities, Rick--despise me though you might. We're both stubborn, and neither of us like to settle. Which is why so many of my relationships have ended in disaster, personally.

I don't know Josh. I don't know about your relationship with him. But I do know one thing. "There is a 'One'" "There isn't a one." "There is, but you don't have to find them." Yadda. Yadda. Yadda. ah, damn...

it was the Star Wars shirt wasn't it?

I never owned one of those.

I guess I should start dressing like a dork again. Funny how things come full circle. :P

Marriage isn't any more serious than you make it, I've seen people get married simply because it sounded fun, because they were sure they'd never find anyone else to spend their life with, and hell I've even seen it happen out of love. (I shit you not!) It just breaks my heart when people use it as a right of passage into the "next phase" of their life or some such nincompoopery. Being alone is shitty sure, but throwing yourself into something like marriage because you feel you have to...

do it when you absolutely want to, when you don't have to, when you know your life is going to be fine whether or not you do it.

I actually thought about proposing to you myself once, that's what is known as "crazy"

;)
