Perhaps I am more sensitive about it than most. Afterall, I work at a nursery. This could happen where I work. With people I know and, mostly, admire. It strikes a fear into my stomach, and a rotten ache in my heart. Children are sacred. They are the blank slates that the future is written on. How could anyone..destroy that?

I remember now why I drive myself to stay up until I can't stay awake. Because lying there in the dark, waiting for sleep to come only lets the demon's in.

Little by little school is killing me. My only highlight is going to work with my toddlers...but half of them aren't coming anymore since their parent's bible class ended. *sigh* I miss 'em! But I do get to see some of the older ones that graduated from my classroom.
