Just had supervision.

Handed in chapter of 12k words and should be feeling fine, but my supervisor said 'you shouldn't rush things. there is no need.'

What the hell's that supposed to mean? I am in my 4th year. I mean - *shouldn't* I get it over and done with soon?? Shouldn't my supervisor TELL me that I should put a little more effort into this?
