I KNOW!!! The first time I ever saw that one I laughed for like five minutes straight. Sherlock fandom goes kooky during the hiatuses and makes the most wonderful crack. See also:

Fun meme, but, no, I don't keep an animated gif folder.
It's funny how gifs have hung around mainly for their use as quick-movies.

Well, it's not too late to start! Perhaps it's too late to amass a collection suitable for doing the meme, but it's definitely fun to start keeping a few good reaction gifs handy.

I am so grateful to whoever came up with the idea for that scene with Ten and the kittens. It's beautiful.

Where does one go to find awesome gifs? I think that's why I don't collect them. I don't know where to look.

Mostly, if I see someone use an awesome gif I save it to my computer for later use. That's how I got most of my favorites. Tumblr tends to have a lot turning up randomly. If I want a gif of a particular scene, sometimes google image search might help you find one. For example, when I wanted a gif of Scary Ten from the Waters of Mars, I googled "time lord victorious gif" and had many options. There are also tumblrs devoted exclusively to sharing gifs from various sources, like this one of Doctor Who gifs.
