Have just finished reading Fire & Hemlock. I've come to appreciate her work so much lately, because her style is so intricate and full of thought. Her complexity in character, plot, and details are just amazing. The only problem is wanting to read it again a second time, as soon as I just finished reading it the first time. Too much comes

It is a very confusing book which I failed to understand earlier because of the lack of familiarity with the original ballad. Still is confusing though. ^^ I recommend Hexwood next.

I'm almost tempted to find some place (LJ comm perhaps) to see what others think about or thought about when they read it years ago. But I'll probably just reread it, since I'm not too familiar with her other books enough to expose my noobie-ness that is so evident. Will check out Hexwood next time I've got a long break. Thanks!
