Right cards, wrong reading

A friend of mine asked me to do a reading for her regarding finding a job and whether she was physically well enough to do manual labor; I shuffled, one card fell out and I set that side as being possibly useful, and then drew two more, intending the first two to address the work situation, and the third her health. This is sort of random, but if the 7 of Pents reversed came up for having good enough health to do manual labor, that's really interesting. I would be incline to read it's message as say to wait and rest. Is she looking at seasonal, landscaping work? I think that tarot is saying that kind of work in particular may be too strenuous.

The other cards, I would read the 6 and Queen saying that she is going to go back to something that she already knows how to do, possibly related to "people" type work. I could see day care, some kind of medical or customer service.

Actually, I said that she WASN'T up to speed, regarding the 7 of pentacles.

to the end comment, my suggestion is not to read to what the person wants, but to what you see in the cards as sometimes you don't always get what you want and the cards tend to give advice and show a path, but it isn't always what the person wanted to here, but in my experience it is always something they needed to hear.

I stand by the fact that we say things the way we say them the way the sitter needs to hear them the way the cards need to say them to us.
