Pacing and growling
I'm. I'm *restless*, which tends feel a lot like anger and that...does not feel good. In the past, moods like this have been the herald of some coming change. Writing the truth
I have a long history of telling the truth when it's a bad idea. I blame it on being stubborn, or on my morals, depending on the day. But the fact is, sometimes the truth sticks in my throat, and whatever passes for the throat-type part of my brain, and won't let anything else come out. New things and rambling
So, I got my hair cut. Short. I haven't had short hair since I was old enough to protest the fact. It feels fine, it just looks weird as all hell and I haven't a clue what to do with it. Enough
One of the things that I've enjoyed about growing up is that now my little sister and I can have conversations without wanting to kill each other. We're a lot alike, which is something I suspected early on but didn't do us any good when we were kids. In any case, she's in my life again and I'm enjoying it, but being careful of where I tread. Short stories
For the most part I don't read short stories, which makes no sense because that's what I write. The short stories I've read have been like popcorn--you have to eat a lot to feel satisfied, no matter how well they're written. I swallow them in bunches and then never want to re-read because I already know how they end ( Read more... ) -
Priorities
The conclusions people come to about what's important continue to bemuse me. My parents took a trip to Israel not too long ago, and while I had the house to myself I had an epiphany about how to fix a story that I hadn't been able to do anything with for over a year, and that I should go to Drexel for Library Science ( Read more... ) -
Deja Vu
