I'm so proud of my son Hes not athletic, he doesn't get top grades in school but he did win an award today at his grade 6 graduation ceremony. He had such a rough start in life, born too early and small. The doctors said he would always be at least 6 months or so behind and in academics he is however he is mechanically inclined. Today I had an elderly couple in to fix their truck. When I went to invoice them and asked their name and address I realized that I went to school with their daughter. Public school, many years ago. Yesterday I received a frantic plea to help place two 3 year old male black labs. I thought OMG thats impossible and they had to find a home by Wed or they would be put to sleep. They guy that had them found them at the border to the US where he works. They held them in "custody" until Wed and the rules were they have to be put down. Not much time ( Read more... )
