I rarely get to play at at myself, and that's something I'm always itching to do, as I feel that if I don't get to play it will be detrimental to actually retaining the creative juices to run games. That does suck. I'm sorry to hear that things have been going to poo in one way or another gaming-wise for you lately. I think most gamers run into occasional burnout periods, though, for a variety of reasons. That's probably normal and expected. Which is actually not a bad thing because it gives us a chance to do other stuff for awhile. Like, in your case maybe put more time into GW2?
As for running specific games for specific people: hats off to you my friend. You are more selfless than I am. I generally throw several ideas at my gaming group and let them decide which they want to play. Which of course means that you might not end up running what you think would be fun (like me this last time), but it might be a good way to make everyone generally happy. Have you ever taken that approach before?
Well, if you ever need some fresh faces, I have been looking to chat with friends and find stuff to do. I've been playing with some friends over IRC for a bit, which is fun, and other games like EQ2 are nifty, but I've been so-so on.
