so there i was, sitting all alone for the first time in a while.  i never realized how quiet it really gets around here.  the birds chirping, the sounds of passing cars splashing in puddles.  the city, she sleeps, the black sky pulled over her like a silken blanket.  my music and my thoughts are the only constant noise i have.
