The last few days of my co-op work term are winding down. I really don't feel like doing anything. But at least now I have an excuse for not feeling like doing anything. Earlier this week I got to help with the casting auditions of an annual play that my school puts on. The play is called Single and Sexy and it is run through the Health Services department. Backtracking... again.
Friday: My boss is so lovely. She invited me and my fellow co-op students over to her house for a pot luck. Some of the student volunteers came along as well. Most of us didn't trust our cooking enough to serve it to other people so we ordered food instead. Except we arrived after our food and my boss had to end up paying for it. Expectations.
Have no expectations and you'll never be disappointed. I used to think this was the best way to handle situations. I've realized now that it is a rather poor life choice. Especially when it comes to people. I shouldn't lose faith in people so easily. I should expect the world from them, because everyone is capable of doing amazing things. But it's ( Read more... ) -

I have a tendency to make really simple things seem a whole lot more complicated. Like organizing things for example, my room being one of those things. But I finally finally got around to it and it should not have taken as long as it did. And I finally finished this drawing.

Mega updates! (or downdates?)
I'm going to backtrack a bit. I did say I was going to start writing down my happy memories after all. Plus I have some time to kill on campus before an event I'm attending starts ( Read more... ) -
Noise should never be kept on a leash.
I used to have a very good habit of writing down my happy memories as soon as I got the chance. It gave me something to look back on to lift my spirits whenever I was feeling down. Maybe I've been falling out of that habit because I know I'll be having a lot more happy memories and don't have to worry so much if I forget some of them ( Read more... ) -

I'm glad I got to meet the people I spent the evening with yesterday. I am extremely envious of their friendship with each other. To be so completely comfortable in each other's presence and visit each other on a whim and travel together and do a bunch of other things together constantly seems like a reality that was never intended for me. My sentences are tangled up in knots and I can't even finish a thought.
I'd like to think that I am wandering around looking for things to do but the fact of the matter is that I'm only pretending that I'm wandering around looking for things to do. A shelf in the fridge.
My housemates and I decided a while ago that each of us would have our own shelf in the fridge. That way we all had an equal amount of space and it would be much easier to keep track of our own food.
