Psychology experiments and unintentional people stalking
I participated in gambling psych study today. I got paid $10 upfront for participating and was given $20 to play in a slot machine game where I could keep any additional earnings. I finally bought an umbrella today. And after only few minutes of using it I remembered why I had gone so long without buying one. Big Storm Umbrella my ass, it couldn't even stand up to the sissiest of winds. I should have just bought an Emergency Rain Poncho instead that was 1/15th of the price. I spent the long weekend with my old housemate and her sister in Brantford, Ontario (her current co-op job location). We were also supposed to visit our other old housemate in Hamilton, Ontario but those plans ended up falling through. A stranger on the street told me I was beautiful. She may have been a bit drunk. She was walking with a couple of friends as I was walking past her and I noticed I had caught her attention for some reason. Classes + Validation
First days of classes went pretty well I'd say. I'm glad I went early to my Monday class (Personality Theory) because I started talking to a girl that was waiting outside the classroom and we ended up sitting together and exchanging numbers. My very brief summer break.
Back in Waterloo after spending a week home in Toronto. It feels sooo good to be back here. The weather is amazing and the summer school term has started and I'm surrounded by people of my own kind again. Toronto wasn't all bad though. The end of a term is always a bittersweet experience. Sometimes my life doesn't even feel like my own life.
