Maybe so, but it's worth more thought: who is searching for whom? The Gita suggests that Krishna/G-d comes into being for us, when we have lost our path, and grown confused regarding our dharma. It does help to keep an eye out for the incarnations, avatars, tzadikkim, bodhisattvas, saints of all stripes, who may be quite ordinary-seeming, but whose influence is so profoundly positive. Some days they seem to be all around us.
