Since 2002 (I think)  I started a tradition of writting a pattern for my birthday and share it with all my friends.  Last year, tho I made it I didn't post it because I didn't have access to a pc then.  I'll try to do it later during the day...

But this year I won't do the same.  And even if my birthday will be in 22 days I'm posting it from now.

I had started this edging before I read the comments, so it's not the prettiest pattern, but I decided to keep going with it until I'd finished the shuttle. Doing it while watching TV has lead to me making several mistakes, one halfway down the long side quite glaring. So now I'll try with the other pattern with the suggested ammendments. I was looking around for a nice tatted spoon, and found one here but no matter how many times I tried, I couldn't get the handle to come out right.
