We are currently in the process of buying a house. We are scheduled to close on Friday, June 9. Can you believe Eli is already 3 months old? I hardly can. I'm already realizing how true the statement "they grow up fast" really is. The boy has hit several milestones in the last few weeks: puts himself to sleep more often, sleeping through the night most nights, and he finally has a pretty solid bedtime of 8:30 to 9. The boy is at his Nana's house and has been since Wednesday. I've missed three days of his smiles, giggles and fussiness when he's really tired but fighting it and it's been hard. The event this weekend was a lot of fun. We got there around 4:30 on Friday. Arg's mom was already there with the RV. Eli was two months old yesterday and had his first set of shots. He got four of them in all; two in each leg. Needless to say, he didn't like it very much. But Grandma was there and made sure he got the loving he needed afterwards. (I think the tylenol helped as well ( Read more... )

Last night we went to the Houston Rodeo with Josh and Kelly to see Toby Keith. The performance was only about an hour long but it was still pretty awesome (the tickets were only $19 and included admission to the rodeo so who can really complain).
