Eli is already one month old. He had his check-up today with Dr. Kavin. The boy weighed in at 11 lbs 5 oz (90th percentile) and was 24 inches long (97th percentile). Oddly enough the doctor thinks he's going to be tall...can't imagine where he gets that from. The boy is doing well and appears to finally be getting on a schedule. He's slowly ( Read more... )

Most of you have probably heard by now that Elijah Lee was born on January 22, 2006 at 5:03 PM. He was 8 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches long. It was a very easy delivery, IMO. At my appointment today the doctor went ahead and scheduled a date to induce my labor - Sunday, January 22. Before some of you ask, no there isn't anything wrong. My doctor told me from the very beginning that he would induce if the baby didn't come by the 39th week (unless I told him I didn't want him to...he's cool like that). He feels very ( Read more... )

Had a doc appt yesterday and everything is still looking good. I now have to go for an appointment every week...oh what fun! The official due date is Jan 28. We had a pretty nice Christmas. My mom and her BF Jim met us at El Toro in Palestine for lunch on Saturday. Then we went to Herschel's for ice cream. Patrick's mom went with us and the mom's seemed to hit it off pretty well.
