Tonight, I fit into, and subsequently bought, a size 4 skirt. As a woman, I am not unaffected by societal pressures to be thin (ie, loved), pretty (ie, loved), and strong (ie, loved). Work sent us a (not even close to) helpful email about what to do during an earthquake. It includes this gem:

"If you are in bed, stay there and cover your head with a pillow."

Folks! If there is an emergency and you are in bed, pretend it's not happening! That's your safest option!
