It is so good to read your LJ these days, to hear you tell of the work you are doing, not to mention just enjoying where you are so much, not that it is a picnic all the time but that you are experiencing some satisfaction. This is what happens when one gains wisdom and their prayer life, the spiritual works of mercy, translate into the corporal works of mercy. You are fleshing out. The only eyes He has are ours, the only hands, ours. Christ is living in you and it is a real joy to read your LJ. Thanks so much!
Thank you for this very sweet comment. My girlfriend and I have been reading the Gospel of St. John together, and "fleshing it out" reminds me of the reading which was at Mass, "and he raised up the temple, which was his body."
I remember when I was in London with mysticactive and you first left a comment for him. We were both a little dazzled over by your heartfelt words. I can say that when I read this, I felt the same way again. Thank you.

It is such a joy to read yours and mysticactive's journals. I feel a spiritual connection to you both. That you are able to live out what you believe is obvious in your posts. Christ left a ton of clues about who/what/whose we really are. Flesh is a temporary housing but nonetheless sacred.
that picture of the mississippi is like a vision from my memory. She looks just as I thought she would. Again, so good to hear from you the other day. I'll have surprise you with a call soon, too :) Glad to hear you're enjoying new orleans so thoroughly..I really should make a trip down someday soon..I'll hop the chicago, merge with the Ohio and slide on down the muddy miss..someday..
no kidding, I have to tack this comment on to an old entry in order to tell you: Ferlinghetti's reading his poetry tomorrow on campus. I'm trying to arrange things to go. Somehow, the whole thing puts me in mind of you. I'm thinking, "man. Taylor should be going to this thing with me." Here's hoping it works out.
