Playreading Dinners

So Melissa Robinson and I have been batting an idea around, and I'm wondering if anyone else would be interested. Semi-regular gatherings of friends to read through plays together, over dinner and/or wine. Maybe one Saturday night a month. Does it sound like something you people would want in on? I'd cheerfully throw my place open for it.

If it was on a weeknight, then heck yes, I'd be there! Sounds spiffy, and verging on "neato." But Saturdays are date nights. I have people who'd like to be taken to parties, or dancing, or the movies. "Come with me and listen to us read Ionesco's Rhinoceros" isn't going have the same appeal.
