I was thinking I might start updating my facebook status more often, but then I thought of lots of things to put and I just couldn't decide which short phrase would best capture my status at the moment, so I decided to put a bunch here

I remembered the part at your lovely openhouse when everyone was instructing me as to how to best eat the quiche (I think it was quiche). Is that the kind of rebel you're being? Doing things your way and ignoring other people's opinions?

I found a pressure cooker, among many other things, in our garage a couple days ago. Then I remembered your mom thought you should learn how to can that wonderful salsa you make. Then I wondered if you have yet. My mom has a huge garden this summer so there will be huge canning marathons coming up.
